All VELUX Windows can be installed into roofs regardless of the material used to cover the roof i.e. Slate, Plain Tiles or Interlocking Tiles. Therefore each VELUX Roof Window has a suitable Flashing kit to fully waterproof the VELUX Window with the appropriate roof covering. VELUX also make an appropriate Flashing kit according to the pitch of the roof - low pitched roofs require a separate Flashing kit.

VELUX have also produced Flashing kits for various VELUX Window Combinations. That is where two or more VELUX Roof Windows are positioned side by side or on top of each other in close proximity requirering a Flashing kit to weatherproof all the Windows in the Combination.
