Insulation for roofing can largely be divided into two categories, Pitched Roof Insulation and Flat Roof Insulation. All insulations can come in a variety of thicknesses. The suitability of the insulation thickness is the responsibility of the property owner / contractor, and if in any doubt should be clarified with the local Building Inspector.
Flat roof Insulation can come in the form of boards that are used within a felt system or sheets of Insulation that are actually attached with a 6mm Ply to form part of the structural decking. Pitched Roof Insulation can come as a Multi-Foil (Space Blanket) roll that usually requires further Insulation such as Pitched Roof Board, a solid board of PIR covered both sides with an aluminium foil.
Greenjackets currently stock Pitched Roof Board in thicknesses from 25mm up to 120mm.
Traditional Loft Roll Insulation is also available in 100mm, 150mm and 200mm.
